House Doña Herminda
From the house you can see the ocean, the woods, the Orotava Valley, Mt Teide and the houses of the area. Surrounded by great intimacy and tranquillity, on waking all you hear is the singing of the local birds.
DESCRIPTION
The house is 200 years old and built in the traditional canarian style. The walls are wide and made of stone. It is situated in a vineyard with very pleasant surroundings and filled with many attractive details including handmade furniture that welcome the visitor to a comfortable stay.

It is situated on the outskirts of the county of La Matanza. At 650 meters above sea level. In the area one can practise trekking and other sports.

HOW TO GET THERE?
Departing from the Tenerife Northern Airport of Los Rodeos in the direction of Puerto de la Cruz, right after passing Tacoronte we take the turnoff Nš 21 of El Sauzal. Passing under the motorway bridge we come to a roundabout where we take a right turn towards Ravelo.
Continuing up the climbing road we reach a stop sign, make a right turn, taking as reference a small chapel on our right side.
Continuing along this road we pass the restaurant Picos del Teide, and follow the road crossing over the small canyon, after which we will find a sign indicating Cruz del Camino, and go on in that direction.
Passing the restaurant Cruz del Camino , and later the restaurant Doņa Candelaria, we go straight and right along the Real Orotava street. When reaching the crossing we go up the street La Resbala, leaving to our left the water embalsement ( Balsa S.Antonio) ,on the left is La Piconera , enter by a dirt road.
